Although the footwear industry has never had any particular environmental problems, there are certain areas in which actions could be beneficial for the environment. In this sense, since 2003, FICE has been conducting a programme of training and awareness-raising actions within the framework of Collaboration Agreements with the Biodiversity Foundation.
